For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Hebrews 4:12-13

Keeping Your Spiritual Edge

“In this day and age, we need to be passionately pursuing Jesus Christ in order to avoid falling away.  In this session, Mr. Luce will talk with you about different ways to keep your spiritual edge in the midst of a busy, God-depraved world.”

MARK OESTREICHER

Middle School Ministry

The young teen years become a make-or-break time of life, where kids deal with issues that used to be reserved for the older teen years.  This seminar will look at early adolescent development and a bunch of practical ministry implications, all with the hope of increasing your understanding and effectiveness.

GREG STIER

“Firestarter: Igniting a Passion for Christ and His Cause”

Greg will explore the keys to accelerating your teens spiritual development and reveal the on critical element that most youth leaders overlook. Come away with practical applications that you can use in your youth group to set your teens on fire for THE Cause.

“THE Cause: A youth Ministry Strategy for Making Disciples
Who Make Disciples”

Our world today is filled with many good and worthy causes, but the cause that consumed Jesus is the ultimate cause! His cause is THE Cause... to make disciples who make disciples. Greg will show you how to make THE Cause a central part of your youth ministry.

ANDREW MARIN

Practical Leadership: What happens when…

As a leader in your church, what happens when two men or two women come to your church holding hands, showing affection for one another and want to be a part of your faith community? What happens when they come to you and ask if they can get involved to love Christ and love people? What happens when they ask you if they can teach Sunday school, or become a part of a leadership team? And what happens when you’re convinced they’re genuine believers but are torn by their active gay life—not wanting to hurt them or have them feel cast out in any way? This session goes into the difficult questions and answers of church leadership in the 21st century surrounding our faith and the gay and lesbian community.

Youth Group: Practical Bridges to Gay and Lesbian Youth

Bridge building with gay and lesbian youth is a nice idea, but what does it practically look like from a structural level within a youth group? How does one actually go about accomplishing this ‘bridge?’ This session will go into great detail about the practical ways a youth group can sustainably build bridges to their local gay and lesbian youth.
